Hi there,
I am looking for information about Jan Czapek z San. Unfortunately here in Poland i could find in library one (ONE!) detailed book about hussite wars, and most of information i was able to gather are very, very scarce. I know he was once leader of lesser tabor, and that after battle at Lipany he escaped to Poland, where he became one of king’s commander. He participate then in mission against Turks in 1444. But where and when he was born? Does he have wife, children? What was his political attitude?
I would also most grateful for pointing me for sites (In english or Polish :)))) ) about Hussites.
I am also searching for information about Poles fighting in Czech lands and in Silesia at side of hussites. I found quite a few information about knights as Wyszek Raczynski, Frydek from Lubsin etc but usually they are just: he was there, he fought, he died.
